January 7 2006 was a big Day for Master Pankratiast Aris Makris and Pankration in General. On that day Aris Makris was inducted into the prestigious Action Martial Arts magazine's Martial Arts Hall of Fame.
Mr. Makris was honored for his work in Pankration and martial arts in general for the last 30 years. In the pictures he is seen with the Father of Modern Pankration Grand Master Kirios Jim Arvanitis and other Pankratiasts such as Nick Hines and Eric Hill.
Master Pankratiast Aris also had some time to schmooze with some of the big boys in the Martial Arts world who made it an exciting day overall.
